Feasibility and Prospects of Sweet Sour Telang Processing Business in Kawanasi MSMEs

Kawanasi MSME is one of the MSMEs that produces sweet sour telang which is a typical Banjar food made from dried salted mackerel fish cooked with spices to create a combination of sour and sweet flavors so that it lasts a long time which is then packaged in a modern way so that it is easy to carry anywhere. This MSME is located on Jalan Panglima Batur Barat no. 1, Loktabat Utara Village, North Banjarbaru District. The purpose of this study is: to determine the feasibility of the business from the profits of sweet sour telang products from Kawanasi MSME, to determine the R/C ratio of sweet sour telangproducts from Kawanasi MSME, and to determine the BEP of sweet sour telangproducts from Kawanasi MSME. This study was conducted from August to September 2025. The data analysis methods used are cost analysis, revenue, profit, R/C ratio and Break Even Point. The results of this study indicate that the sweet and sour Telang product business can provide large profits. The sale of sweet sour telang products can provide a promising business opportunity because the annual profit can reach Rp 10,582,000. Based on the feasibility analysis, the R/C value is 1.08. The BEP for production and price of this sweet sour telangproduct is above the break-even point. Because the R/C value is greater than 1, and the BEP for production and price are above the break-even point, this sweet sour telangbusiness is feasible.
