Improving Knowledge and Skills in Analyzing Snapper (Lutjanidae sp) Fish Floss Processing Businesses at the Crislea Business Group in Ohoi Namar, Manneuw District, Southeast Maluku Regency

Despite operating since 2014, the Crislea business group still faces major challenges: a lack of financial records, limited understanding of calculating net income and profit margins, and a lack of long-term financial planning. These conditions have the potential to hinder profitability and business sustainability. This community service activity focuses on increasing the capacity of the Crislea Group in Ohoi Namar, Manyeuw District, Southeast Maluku Regency, in managing a snapper fish floss business. The fish floss processing business was chosen because it offers significant added economic value, a longer shelf life, and bright development prospects, given the abundant availability of snapper as a raw material and its affordable price. To answer these problems, community service activities are carried out in several stages, namely: (1) Survey, to explore the group's initial understanding regarding business analysis; (2) Education, through the presentation of material on recording production costs, calculating income, and financial management; (3) Mentoring, in the form of direct practice in grouping costs, calculating profit margins, and preparing simple financial reports; and (4) Evaluation, to assess the extent to which the group's understanding and skills have increased after the activity. The results of the activity showed significant improvements in group capabilities, particularly in recording production costs, calculating net profit, and raising awareness of the importance of profitability and structured business management. These improvements are expected to support business sustainability and improve the welfare of group members.
